Praeitą mėnesį baigiau Amerikoje šį puikų kursą – geriausią galimybę, kurią už pastangas gavau atgal iš LT kariuomenės: 19D (Cavalry scout) MOS-T Phase II !!

The cavalry scout leads, serves, or assists as a member of scout crew, squad, section, or platoon in reconnaissance, security, and other combat operations. This course is structured into a „Distance Learning” Phase I and „resident” Phase II. The course is performance oriented and designed to qualify individual students in the 19D MOS. Upon completion, the student will be able to perform the tasks neccassary for skill level 1 proficiency.

19D MOS-T (HMMWV) Phase II is 16 days in duration with day 1 and 16 scheduled as travel and processing. The course is performance oriented and designed to qualify individual students in MOS 19D(HMMWV). Phase II instruction includes demolitions, communications, land navigation, weapons, and maintenance and operation of an M1025 HMMWV. There are approximately 130 hours of training with the majority conducted as hands on practical exercises.

19D (HMMWV) MOS-T Phase II Trained Subjects:

– Maintain and Operate the AN/PVS-7B/D Night Vision Goggles and AN/PVS-14 Monocular Night vision device
– AN/PSN-11 Global Positioning System
– Prepare and Operate SINCGARS Radio
– Perform Operator Maintenance on a HMMWV
– Vehicle Rollover Drill
– Drive a HMMWV
– Operate an M240B Machine Gun
– Operate the MK 19 Machine Gun
– Mount/Dismount MK 19 Machine Gun on a HMMWV
– Fundamentals of Dismounted Patrolling
– Land Navigation
– Operate a Caliber .50 M2 HB Machine Gun
– Mount/Dismount a Caliber .50 M2 Machine Gun on a Vehicle
– IED Mine Warfare Overview
– Urban Combat Operations
– Modernized Demolition Initiators
– Establish an Observation Post (OP)
– Engage Targets with an M240B Machine Gun
– Engage Targets with a Caliber .50 M2 Machine Gun on a Vehicle
– Engage Targets an MK19
– Call For Fire
– Mounted and Dismounted Patrolling
– Cordon And Search
– Rout Reconnaissance
– Zone Reconnaissance with Screening LP/OP
